    Rabbi Moshe Stavsky

    Rabbi Moshe Stavsky has been the Rav of the Bais Medrash of Bergenfield since 2011. Prior to joining our community, he served as the Assistant to the Rabbi at the Young Israel of Fort Lee, taught in a variety of formal and informal chinuch programs and has been a guest lecturer at shuls nationally.

    During the week, Rabbi Stavsky teaches Talmud, Tanach and Halacha at the Ramaz Upper School.

    Rabbi Stavsky is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America (RCA) and the Rabbinical Council of Bergen County (RCBC) and serves on the RCBC Beit Din for Conversion.

    Rabbi Stavsky learned at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush) for two years prior to attending Yeshiva College. He received his Semicha from RIETS and earned an MA in Bible from the Bernard Revel Graduate School at YU. Rabbi Stavsky studied four years post-Semicha at YU’s Wexner Kollel Elyon.

  • Rabbi David Pietruszka

    Rabbi David Pietruszka

    Since 2008, Rabbi David Pietruszka and his wife, Leah, have been a part of our community. Raised in Monsey, NY, Rabbi Pietruszka graduated from Yeshiva College and Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. Following his studies at Yeshiva University, he pursued a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Hunter College in NYC.

    Rabbi Pietruszka currently serves as the Director of the Jewish Learning Experience, Youth Director at Bais Medrash of Bergenfield, and teaches at Jewish Educational Center in Elizabeth, NJ.  They have 5 children and reside in Bergenfield, NJ.
